Remember after the Fall, Eve had been bamboozled by the Serpent into eating the fruit and Adam did the same with far less bamboozlement from Eve, God said that Adam would eat by the sweat of his brow but the ground would yield thorn and thistle. Then God told Eve that she had to heed the word of her husband.
God has a great sense of humor!
If she wouldn't heed the Word of God, what makes us think she would heed the word of a failed farmer of a husband.
It is a lesson in comedy and marital relationships simultaneously. Male domination isn't going to work, but love and laughter might. That's a fact. Take it from God and then give it back.
Never curse a Blessing or Bless a curse.
